Imagine Wesley is open to any student that resides within the City Limits of Atlanta. The only eligible out of district enrollees are children of teachers, staff, and founding committee and governing board of managers of the charter school who do not live in the City limits of Atlanta.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 20-2-2066(a) the primary attendance zone is the area designated by the City of Atlanta as Neighborhood Planning Unit – W (NPU-W) and Neighborhood Planning Unit – Y (NPU-Y). Students residing in the primary attendance zone shall have enrollment preference at Imagine Wesley to fill up to one third of the available seats in each grade level. Should more than 1/3 of primary zone applicants apply for any grade level in Phase One registration, that grade will be decided by lottery. Any students unsuccessful in the lottery will of course be eligible to be considered in Phase Two registration as being residents of the City of Atlanta. The applicants from NPU-Y and NPU-W shall be given no preference should they register in phase Two or go into the Phase Two Lottery.

The secondary attendance zone will be the City limits of Atlanta. Imagine Wesley shall enroll any City of Atlanta student (including students with disabilities and ESOL students) who submits a timely application, unless the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of a program, class, grade level or building. In such case, all such applicants shall have an equal chance of being admitted through a random selection process; provided, however, that the Imagine Wesley shall give enrollment preference to such students who reside in the primary attendance zone as established above. There will be separate registration periods for each attendance zone.

If any spaces remain after the second registration period, those spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. 

IWIA will be nonsectarian and nonreligious in its programs, admissions policies, employment practices, and all other operations.  The school shall not charge tuition, and shall not discriminate against any student on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender or disability.  Students with limited English and with special needs or disabilities will be welcomed at the school.

All required forms and documentation must be presented at time of pre-enrollment and/or registration. Imagine Wesley will not process or hold incomplete applications.
